Meet the Team
Playful Life CIC is run by a team of qualified, experienced play therapists dedicated to supporting children and families across our local communities. We specialise in child‑centred, trauma‑informed practice and bring years of experience helping children build confidence, regulate emotions, and feel understood. We also offer supportive guidance for parents and caregivers throughout the therapeutic journey.

Play Therapist, Parent Support and Clinical Supervisor
Donna
My aim is to offer a safe, accepting and compassionate relationship where children and adults feel seen, heard and valued, and can reconnect with themselves at their own pace. For almost 40 years I’ve supported children, young people and families across education, voluntary organisations and therapeutic settings, and my hope is that people leave therapy feeling more connected to themselves, empowered to move forward and able to live more authentically.

Play Therapist, Parent Support and Clinical Supervisor
Katie
Since qualifying in 2019, I’ve supported a wide range of clients, including neurodivergent children and those experiencing domestic abuse, family conflict, foster or adoptive placements, anxiety and OCD. With specialist training in neurodivergent‑affirming practice, I began offering bespoke guidance for parents and carers when I saw traditional strategies weren’t meeting their children’s needs, and I now provide this support online.
